Kyalo Bradford - Owner

My name is Kyalo Bradford. I’m the owner of Culture Cutz Barbershop. I was born and raised in Oak Hill West Virginia. I Graduated from Oak Hill High school in 2013. At first I had no plan for my future but in October of 2016 I decided to join barber school. I chose CSOBC, also know as Charleston School of Beauty Culture, where I graduated in May of 2017.

After working at a couple of shops for about 6 years, I decided to take a leap of faith and open my own shop. Each shop taught me a lot. The best thing I’ve learned since opening my own shop is to never give up on your dreams, because one day that dream turn into reality. Feel free to book with me at the link listed, book.thecut.co/KyalosCultureCutz

Meet the Team

  • Gillian Worlledge

Gillian is from the Mount Nebo area and has been licensed for almost 6 years. She’s been in the hair business for much longer. Gillian got her start by doing friends hair for prom and formal occasions, and would occasionally cut her dads hair.

After starting cosmetology school she quickly realized barbering was her passion and after graduating started working in a barbershop in Morgantown. After a few years she decided to go back to school to be licensed in barbering as well. She obtained the barber crossover license in 2019 and has been cutting hair in Oak Hill ever since.

  • Tate Abbott

Being a barber is a rewarding profession that goes beyond just cutting hair. One of the most appealing aspects is the opportunity to connect with people on a personal level.

The chair becomes a space for conversations, creating a sense of community that goes beyond the haircut. My favorite part is likely the relationships forged with clients.

  • Todd Neal

Todd is from Hico, WV. At just 23 years old, he’s been cutting hair for 3 years now. He went to barbering school at Charleston School of Beauty Culture. He graduated barbering school in 2020.

He chose barbering back in high school just cutting to have fun with friends. He pursued it with passion and still loves the craft and enjoys learning more each day.

His favorite part about being a barber is the joy on clients face after giving them a good cut. His favorite cut to do is a burst/Mohawk fade because it shows creativity.
